Media UPDATE - Homicide File 2021-21874

UPDATE – On July 20, 2022, members with the Prince Albert Police Service arrested a 31-year-old man from Muskoday for accessory after the fact in connection to the June 2021 homicide of Drexlyr Whitehead [Information 90409837].

The accused will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday morning.

This is the first arrest in connection to this homicide investigation and police continue to investigate.

On June 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., police responded to the 1900 Block of 14^th Street West for a weapons complaint. On arrival, police located the victim, Drexlyr Whitehead, who was declared deceased at the scene.
