Prince Albert Police members responded to 256 calls for service between Friday evening and Monday morning. The majority of calls for service involved disturbances and intoxicated persons.
File 2020-791 – Break and Enter in Progress
Members of the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress early Monday morning in the 1100 Block of 18th St. W. Police were called to the area around 5:20 a.m. for a report of a break in at a vacant residence.
Upon arrival, police located a 39-year-old man inside the residence. He is facing charges of break and enter and wilful damage under $5,000. [Information 991116921]
File 2020-775 – Weapons Complaint
Police responded to a weapons complaint in the 2600 Block of Second Ave. W. Sunday evening. Several people called police around 8 p.m. to report a male in the area with a gun. The suspect then left the area.
As part of their investigation, police reviewed security camera footage from a nearby business and have identified a suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued for a 31-year-old man in connection with this incident.
File 2020-633 – Break and Enter
Officers responded to a complaint of a break and enter to a business in the 1400 Block of Central Ave. that occurred sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning. A suspect attempted to steal several items, but was not successful.
Police continue to investigate.
