Members of the Prince Albert Police Service responded to 223 calls for service over the weekend. The majority of calls involved intoxicated persons and disturbances.
File 2020-2888 – Assault with a Weapon
A 20-year-old man is facing five counts of assault with a weapon and one charge of mischief stemming from an incident in the 2800 Block of Sixth Ave. E. Monday afternoon. Police were dispatched to the area around 2:25 p.m. for a complaint that several people had been sprayed with bear mace.

File 2020-2859 – Assault with a Weapon
An arrest warrant has been issued for a 20-year-old man charged in connection with an incident Monday morning in the 700 Block of Fourth St. E. Police were dispatched to the area just before 8 a.m. for a complaint that a man had attacked another man with a hammer and an axe.
The suspect and victim are known to each other.
File 2020-2761 – Aggravated Assault
Police have charged a 33-year-old woman with aggravated assault and breach of court order in relation to an incident Saturday night. Police were called to the 200 Block of 12th St. E. around 11:30 p.m. Saturday for a complaint that a woman had been stabbed.
A 24-year-old woman was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance for further care and treatment.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested at the scene [Information 991119402]. The suspect and victim are known to each other.
