Police arrested one woman in the 1000 Block of 15^th St. E. Tuesday night after receiving a report of a female threatening staff and attempting to steal property from a nearby store.

Police were called to the area just before 9:30 p.m. and located a woman matching the description of the female suspect. Upon further investigation, police located a knife concealed in the woman’s waistband.

The 25-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and theft. [Information 991105892]
