On February 23, 2022, just before 5:30 am, Prince Albert Police Service responded to a residence in the 500 Block of 5th Street East for a complaint of a shooting. On arrival officers located a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was initially transported to the Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance in stable condition and has since been transported to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
