Police have charged a 22-year-old man with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon following an incident involving a vehicle and pedestrian Wednesday afternoon. Rajdeepsinh Prakashsinh Bihola of Prince Albert made his first appearance at Prince Albert Provincial Court Thursday morning. [Information 991197050]

Police responded to a call for service in the 800 Block of 15^th Street East at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday. Upon further investigation, police determined that an altercation had taken place, resulting in a 31-year-old man being seriously injured. He remains in hospital in Saskatoon.

Officers with the Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Section of the police service continue to investigate.

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating an incident involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the 800 Block of 15^th Street East. Police were called to the area at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday.

One man, age 31, has been transported to hospital in serious condition.

Patrol officers and members with the Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Section of the police service continue to investigate. The public can expect to see a large police presence in the area for the rest of the day.
