Effective September 17, 2018, the Prince Albert SPCA will be taking over Animal Control Services from the Prince Albert Bylaw Enforcement Unit. The new agreement will be for a trial period with the SPCA appointing Animal Control Officers to handle services as outlined in the City of Prince Albert’s Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw. The Bylaw Enforcement Unit will be supporting the SPCA during the transition, however, all domestic animal related calls should be directed to only the SPCA at (306) 981-6115 ...

Weekend Update – September 10, 2018
Patrol officers had a steady weekend responding to 295 calls for service between Friday night and Monday morning. Officers made 54 arrests, 44 arrests were made on people for being intoxicated in a public place. The top three calls for service were intoxicated persons (44), disturbances (35) and evictions (16).
