Police are appealing to the public for information about two incidents involving firearms Friday morning.

Just after 6 a.m., police were dispatched to the area around 12^th Avenue and 16^th Street West for a report of gunshots.

Approximately one hour later, around 7:20 a.m., police responded to a report of gunshots in the 1100 Block of 18^th St. W. One male was located at the scene with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police believe these incidents may be related.
