Media Release - Motor Vehicle Collision

On Saturday, June 11 at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers with the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a report of a collision along Highway 3, in the area of the 500 Block of 10^th Street N.W. Members with the RCMP and RCMP traffic services were also on scene to assist.

The collision occurred in an area where construction has been ongoing. The driver of a westbound minivan collided with a truck heading east into Prince Albert.

The 72-year-old driver and lone occupant of the van was pronounced deceased at the scene. The two occupants of the truck were treated for minor injuries by Parkland Ambulance.

Police continue to investigate.
