File 2019-24493 – Weapons Complaint

A 27-year-old man is facing several firearms-related charges after police were called to a residence in the 1500 Block of 15^th Street West Monday evening for a complaint of a man sleeping while holding a sawed-off rifle. Police responded to the area around 9:30 p.m. Monday and arrested a man in the basement of the home. A loaded, sawed-off rifle was also located. The man is also charged with breach of court order and was to appear in court Tuesday morning.

File 2019-24489 – Break and Enter

Police arrested two people Monday evening who were spotted going into a vacant building in the 2100 Block of 5^th Avenue West. Officers patrolling the area arrived within minutes after a resident reported suspicious activity around 9 p.m. Monday. A 16-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man were arrested and charged with break and enter in relation to this incident.
