Media UPDATE - Death Investigation File 2023-11403

UPDATE – After investigation and autopsy, the death of a 31-year-old woman on Thursday, April 5, 2023 is considered not suspicious or criminal in nature.

The name of the deceased will not be released at the request of family.

On April 5, 2023, just after 1:30 a.m., members with the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a residence in the 700 Block of 12^th Street West to assist Parkland Ambulance for a report of a woman who was unconscious and not breathing. On arrival, police located a 31-year-old woman, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police remain on scene and can be expected to be visible in the area as the Criminal Investigation Division investigates, along with the Office of the Chief Coroner.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning.
