File #2019-22751 – Search Warrant
Members with the Saskatchewan Combined Forces Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) executed a search warrant at a residence on Jack Matheson Crescent just after 9 p.m. Wednesday. Police seized marihuana, gammahydroxybutyrate (GHB) – a central nervous system depressant – and 98 grams of cocaine, along with a digital scale, three cell phones, baggies and more than $1,400 in cash during a search of the residence. A 34-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman are facing charges in relation to the search warrant.
The Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) is a province-wide integrated policing task force formed to investigate existing and emerging organized criminal groups. Saskatchewan CFSEU has units located in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert with a common mandate to target criminal organizations operating within the participating agencies’ jurisdiction and surrounding areas and to disrupt and dismantle criminal organizations.

A 14-year-old boy is facing charges of mischief and arson after two properties in the 1000 Block of 22nd Street East were damaged Wednesday. Police were called to a residence in the area for a report of a shed on fire around 2:30 p.m. A can of spray paint was seized by police at the scene.
