On September 13, 2018 at approximately 4 p.m. the Prince Albert Police Service was dispatched to the area of 200 Block 10 Street East on report of a male with outstanding warrants in the area.

The suspect male along with another male were located in a parking lot on the Unit Block of 10 Street West. Both were arrested for officer safety and searched. The second male had a sawed off rifle concealed on his person loaded with ammunition which was removed by officers.

A 17-year-old male youth from Prince Albert is charged with six firearms related charges and two breaches of a youth sentence order (Information # 991065225).

A 15-year-old male youth from Swan River, Manitoba is charged with five firearms related offenses (Information #991065227).

Both youth will answer to charges in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
