Search Warrant Executed

A male and female will appear in Provincial Court today on numerous firearms charges after police executed a search warrant Wednesday night.

On May 15, 2019 just after 8:30 p.m., a search warrant was executed on a residence in the 1900 Block of 15 Street West. Members of the Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET), Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT), Canine Unit and Patrol all assisted. Because of the search warrant, members seized a loaded sawed off .22 caliber rifle, a second .22 caliber sawed off rifle, numerous rounds of ammunition and bear spray.

A 24-year-old male and  20-year-old female from Prince Albert  were arrested in the residence at the time of the execution of the search warrant and have been charged with numerous firearms charges and breach of court order (Info # 991090700). Both accused will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

The ISET Team is made up of members from the Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
