Possession of Stolen Property – October 27, 2017

Just after 10:00 a.m., October 26, 2017 Prince Albert Police pulled over a car for a Traffic Safety Act investigation in the South Hill Mall Parking lot. While speaking with occupants of the vehicle, the officer observed a bag of golf clubs in the car which matched the description of golf clubs that had been stolen from a residence earlier in the day. The 3 occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of stolen property.

After further investigation and a search of the car police located 1.3 Grams of methamphetamine.

A 27-year-old male from Canwood has been charged with Breach of Court Order (Info# 991029895).

A 30-year-old female from Prince Albert has been charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Breach of Court Order (Info# 991029894).

Both accused made their first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.

Prince Albert Police Service responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a van and a pedestrian in the parking lot of a business in the 1400 Block of 10th Avenue East just after 11:00 p.m., October 26, 2017.

On arrival officers located two females who were injured as a result of being hit by a van. The victims advised police they were involved in a physical altercation with the male sitting in the driver’s seat of the van. Both females were struck by the van as the driver attempted to pull away. The victims pointed out the driver of the van who was responsible for the incident. Two females were transported to the hospital by Parkland Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old male from Prince Albert for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm x2, Exceeding .08 Causing Bodily Harm x2 and Assault (Info# 991029897).

The accused made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
