Media UPDATE - LOCATED - Faron Roberts

UPDATE – Just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, members with the Prince Albert Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team (CRT) located and arrested Faron Roberts. Roberts, 23, was arrested in the 800 Block of 14^th Street West following a short foot chase.

Upon further investigation, police located a loaded, sawed-off shotgun and ammunition at an outdoor area nearby.

Roberts, from Prince Albert, appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court Friday morning and is facing numerous charges including, careless use of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, carry a concealed weapon, and possession of a prohibited weapon. [Information 991224716]

On February 16, the Prince Albert Police Service issued a media release asking for the public’s help to locate Roberts, who was reported to be unlawfully at large in our community while on statutory release (File 2023-5602).
