Prince Albert Police members responded to 231 calls for service over the weekend. The majority of calls involved intoxicated persons and disturbances.
File 2019-40851 – Break and enter
Police are investigating a break and enter to the Kinsmen Ski Hill compound at Little Red River Park over the weekend. Sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, unknown persons cut a fence to the compound at the ski hill. Cords to operate two snow making machines containing copper wire were taken.

File 2019-40758 – Weapons Complaint
Police were called to the 1000 Block of 17th St. W. around 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning for a weapons complaint. A witness reported hearing a gunshot and seeing a male and female walking in the area. Upon further investigation, police located a shotgun inside a residence.
A 23-year-old man is facing several firearm-related charges in relation to this incident. [Information 991114211]
File 2019-40740 – Aggravated Assault
A 29-year-old man was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with a gunshot wound to his leg following an incident in the 1100 Block of 17th St. W. around 6:20 a.m. Saturday. Police continue to investigate.
