Police responded to 99 calls for service between Monday and Tuesday morning.

File 2019-37201 - Robbery

Police were dispatched to the 2800 Block of Sixth Ave. E. around 7:15 p.m. Monday for a complaint of a robbery. Staff at a business in the area reported a man threatened them with a knife before taking an undisclosed amount of cash and sunglasses. A patrol officer located the suspect walking nearby.

A 22-year-old man is facing charges of robbery, possession of a controlled substance and breach of court order. [Information 991110538]

File 2019-37134 – Recover Stolen Auto

Officers recovered a stolen vehicle Monday morning in the 1300 Block of Sixth Ave. E. Inside the vehicle, police located a replica firearm, a knife, hammer, ammunition, and a baseball bat.

The 31-year-old female driver of the vehicle was arrested and is facing several charges, including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property, and carrying a concealed weapon. [Information 991110467]
