Media Release - Mental Health Incident

At 7:00 a.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021, the Prince Albert Police Service, Prince Albert Fire Department and Parkland ambulance responded to a report of a male in the river.

A 65-year-old man was rescued and life saving procedures were attempted.

The man remains in hospital at time of this release.

Foul play is ruled out and this is not a suspicious event.
