Members with the Prince Albert Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team (CRT) have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a stabbing earlier this month.

On Thursday, August 19, police were dispatched to a report of stabbing at a multi-unit residential building in the 500 Block of 28th Street East. A 26-year-old woman was transported to hospital in serious condition.

Police received a report of a second stabbing following the initial incident in the area around 28th Street and 6th Avenue East involving a 63-year-old man. He was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance for further care.

On Wednesday, August 24, a suspect was arrested by Prince Albert Police. Reno Keenatch of Prince Albert made his first appearance in court on Thursday on charges of aggravated assault and breach of probation in connection with the assault involving the 63-year-old victim. [Information 991206547]
