On January 16th, 2023, at approximately 10:40 p.m., a member of the Prince Albert Police Service commenced an investigation in the 400 block of South Industrial Drive. During the interaction with police a confrontation occurred with a male during which a firearm was discharged. File 2023-946 Late Monday morning, police were called to a wooded area near the 1000 Block of 18th Street West for a report of a deceased male. Police and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service are investigating. Dwight Whitehead, age 32, has been identified as the deceased. File 2023-263 A 40-year-old woman is charged with aggravated assault and uttering threats following an incident at a multi-unit residential building in the 700 Block of 1st Avenue East. The incident happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. Monday. The woman gained access to the building and is reported to have threatened residents with a knife and assaulted a man before fleeing.
