One male is in custody after attempting an armed robbery and fleeing from police last night. On February 13, 2019 just after 11:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a complaint of an attempted armed robbery that had just occurred in the 2700 Block of 2nd Avenue West. The complainant told police the suspect approached him with a weapon described as a pipe or tool and demanded money and the complainant’s vehicle.
