Drug and Firearm Charges – December 19, 2017

Three people are charged with numerous drug and firearm related offences after an investigation by the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET).

On December 14, 2017, police arrested two males and one female as well as conducted search warrants on three separate residences. With the search warrants, police seized 4.5 pounds of marihuana – with an approximate street value of $10,000 – one shotgun, three rifles and various ammunition. Police also recovered a stolen ATV.

Officers from PAPS police and RCMP patrol units, Criminal Investigation Division, CFSEU and RCMP K9 units assisted during the searches.

A 37-year-old male from Shellbrook is charged with trafficking marihuana, possession of proceeds of crime, possession of stolen property and firearms related offences (Info # 991034991).

A 30-year-old male from Prince Albert is charged with trafficking marihuana and possession of proceeds of crime (Info # 991034875).

A 25-year-old female from Prince Albert is charged with trafficking marihuana and possession of proceeds of crime (Info # 991034880).

All three accused were released on conditions to make their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.

The Integrated Street Enforcement Team is made up of members from Prince Albert Police Service and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
