Prince Albert Police responded to 288 calls for service from Friday evening through Monday morning. As a result, 48 people were arrested, with 36 of those being for public intoxication. 5 people were taken to the Brief Detoxification Center.
The majority of calls were in reference to intoxicated persons, disturbances and loud parties.

The Prince Albert Police Service responded to approximately 213 calls for service from Friday 6pm to noon Sunday. A total of 39 arrests were made. 31 of those arrests were for being intoxicated in a public place.
The majority of calls were for intoxicated persons, disturbances and loud parties.

The Prince Albert Police Service has recently investigated a fraud in which a local citizen lost a substantial amount of money to a fraudulent scheme.

The Prince Albert Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in solving an ongoing investigation into the theft of a substantial amount of copper wire from a work site at the PA Pulp and Paper site. Over 11,000 meters of copper was stolen, with a total weight exceeding 32,000 pounds. Police began their investigation into this theft on March 16th/2012.

April 9th at approx 10:53am, City Police responded to the 1300blk of 6th st. east for a report from the public of suspicious activity. While responding to the area a patrol officer located the involved suspect vehicle driving away west bound out of the area. The patrol officer turned around after the suspect vehicle and attempted to conduct a stop of the vehicle....
