Further to S/Sgt. SCHLUFF’S release from Sunday, 243 calls were responded to from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. 59 persons were taken into custody, 20 of those for public intoxication, and 5 of those were taken to the Brief Detoxification Center. 19 persons were taken to Court Monday morning, 12 adult males, 4 adult females, and 3 young persons.

- Further to S/Sgt. SHLUFF’S release from Sunday March 21st, PA Police responded to 227 calls for service over the weekend. As mentioned, these included 3 impaired drivers, a rash of graffiti incidents in the area of the 1500 block of 7th Street East to Allbright Crescent, and a 2-vehicle MVA (2010-7412), which occurred Saturday at around Noon.

March 12th/2010 fire At The Brief Rehab Center located at the Victoria Hospital: Investigation determined this fire to be suspicious in nature, with direct damage to the ceiling area, along with associated smoke damage. The Center reopened yesterday.

On Thursday March 11th at approximately 7:15pm Prince Albert Police responded to a report of a male, walking on the pedestrian side of the Diefenbaker Bridge, armed with a dark coloured handgun, and firing into the river. An emergency response was initiated, with traffic being blocked entering the bridge. A responding Canine Unit member initiated a high-risk takedown near the North end of the bridge, and the offender was arrested without further incident. A search of the suspect subsequent to arrest revealed a black ‘air soft’ replica handgun on the suspect’s person.

The Prince Albert Police Service was busy over the weekend and attended to 284 calls for service since 1800hrs on Friday.
Police made 31 arrests during this time frame with 21 being related to Intoxicated Persons and/or Breach of the Peace complaints.

Further to the February 28th release, the Prince Albert Police Service responded to 277 calls for service from 6:00pm Friday to Monday at 7:00pm. These calls resulted in:
- 56 persons being placed into custody
- 26 arrests for public intoxication (5 of these were taken to the Brief Detox Centre)
