Further to Sunday’s Duty NCO release, Prince Albert Police responded to 165 calls for service from Friday evening through Monday morning. As a result, 32 people were arrested, with 12 of those being for public intoxication. 2 people were taken to the Brief Detoxification Center. The majority of calls were in reference to intoxicated persons, disturbances and loud party complaints.

Prince Albert Police service responded to 163 calls for service with 32 arrests over the weekend.  The majority of the calls were in relation to intoxicated persons or disturbances.

On December 29th/2011 at approximately 10:00pm police responded to the 1200 block of 17th Street West for a report of a stabbing.

 

Upon arrival police located a male inside the residence with a single stab wound to his lower back. The victim was transported to the Vic OPD where he received surgery for his wound and is reported to be in stable condition.

On December 29th/2011 at approximately 3:30am police responded to a report of a disturbance in the midtown area of the city.
