This past year was good in many ways and in many areas for the Prince Albert Police Service.  With the assistance of the Provincial Government and under the direction of our Board we added more members to the steet.  We took on many new initiatives including Bylaw enforcement which is directed at some of the root causes associated with and to crime.....

The past year has seen gains in all areas of Crime reduction; 3% decrease in property Crimes, 2% decrease in violent  Crimes and 3% in Crimes other. This is a significant step in the right direction that we must continue to progress in....

The past year has seen significant gains in relation to the reduction of property crime. While this is extremely positive the challenge to continue is significant. Crimes against persons are another area that is not as fortunate as property. Although the numbers are smaller in total amounts and the increase is minimal it still raises concerns that we are diligently working to address...
