Further to Sunday’s Duty NCO’s release. The Prince Albert Police responded to 236 calls for service from Friday evening through to Monday morning. As a result 54 people were arrested with 29 of those for public intoxication. 5 people were taken to the Brief Detoxification Centre. The Majority of the calls were reports of intoxicated persons and disturbances.

The Prince Albert Police Service responded to a total of 182 calls for service from Friday 1800hrs until Sunday Noon. During this time 43 arrests were made, 26 persons were arrested for being intoxicated in public.
The majority of the calls were in relation to intoxicated persons & disturbances.

On Tuesday May 1st at 9:15pm Prince Albert Police were advised that 45-year old Leslie Brian SAMOLESKI was at a residence in the City, breaching conditions of his Recognizance. SAMOLESKI had been released from custody by the Courts on a Recognizance, awaiting his next Court appearance on May 7th/2012.
In April of 2011 SAMOLESKI had been charged with several offences ( including Criminal Negligence Causing Death, Impaired Driving, Fail to Remain at The Scene of An Accident and Firearms Offences) after a teenage girl was struck and killed by a vehicle. A standoff with Police SWAT also resulted.

Further to Sunday’s Duty NCO release, Prince Albert Police responded to 267 calls for service from Friday evening through Monday morning. As a result, 56 arrests were made, with 27 of those being for public intoxication. 4 people were taken to the Brief Detoxification Center.

The Prince Albert Police Service responded to a total of 201 calls for service over the weekend. During this time 45 arrests were made with 22 people arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
The majority of the calls were in relation to intoxicated persons, disturbances & evictions.

Further to the Duty NCO release from Sunday, Prince Albert Police responded to 289 calls for service from Friday evening through Monday morning. As a result, 52 people were arrested with 31 of those for public intoxication. 4 people were taken to the Brief Detoxification Center.

During the past weekend between Friday April 20th and Sunday April 22nd City Police responded to 207 calls for service.
Break down of calls
-Friday Night 72 calls
-Saturday Day 60 calls
-Saturday Night 75 calls
Over the busy weekend a total of 39 arrests occurred and 26 of which were for intoxication....

On Wednesday April 18th at 1:49am Prince Albert Police responded to a report of persons damaging vehicles (smashing windshields) in the 800 block of 1st Avenue East. At 1:54am responding officers located the responsible individual walking with several others in the Unit Block of River Street West.
