Prince Albert Police responded to 234 calls for service over the weekend, from Friday evening through Monday morning. As a result, 53 arrests were made with 24 of those being for public intoxication. 2 persons were taken to the Brief Detoxification Center.

On 2011-11-19 at approximately 2034hrs Prince Albert Police service, Parkland Ambulance & Prince Albert Fire department attended to the 600 block of 13th St. West for a report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

On Tuesday, November 15th/2011 Prince Albert Police responded to an assistance call from Parkland Ambulance to a call of a ‘man down’ in the 800 block of 3rd Street East. Paramedics arriving to the initial call realized that the male subject had been a victim of violence, and was deceased. This suspicious death is being considered a homicide.

The Prince Albert Police Service reports a total of 145 calls for service and 19 arrests from Friday evening until Sunday noon. The majority of calls were routine in nature such as intoxicated persons, disturbances & evictions.
