Prince Albert Police Service will complete Criminal Record Checks for Canada only (as long as applicant has a Prince Albert address). Applicant must obtain Criminal Record Check from the country of origin.

Applicant can request a Criminal Record Check for another country, including United States, the process is

• Prince Albert Police Service will complete a Criminal Record Check for Canada ONLY (cost $25 for paid positions / n/c for volunteers)
   
• Fingerprints must be taken (long green form), cost is $15 (whether volunteer or paid positions)
   
• It is up to applicant to mail their request to the applicable country. Applicant is to obtain a full set of fingerprints, include a cover letter explaining purpose for check and send the dollar amount that would be necessary. (The amount charged would depend on the country and the applicant would have to inquire).

For a United States Criminal Record Check, applicant must:

• Obtain a full set of fingerprints at a police agency or accredited private fingerprinting company
   
• Include a cover letter explaining purpose for check
   
• Obtain a money order for $18.00 payable in US funds to ¡§US Treasury¡¨
