Prince Albert is located in central Saskatchewan on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. It is the third largest city in the province with a population of approx. 39,300. Prince Albert has a very diverse population which includes many different cultures. Prince Albert has two provincial jails, a young offenders facility and a federal penitentiary within it's boundaries.
